She said in an honest interview that her love for the game keeps her in the cameraman’s line of sight.
“Those are my raw emotions that you’re seeing because my job has brought me to the point that I have to put myself out there. In Hyderabad, I can’t do anything; I have to sit there. That’s the only place I can sit. But even when I go to Ahmedabad or Chennai, and I’m sitting many feet away, somewhere in the box, the cameraman manages to find me. So, I understand how it becomes memes,” hence, she explained in a chat with InsideSport how these events become memes.
Fans go from times of grief to leaps of happiness, through Kavya, experiencing the whole spectrum of emotions a loyal Sunrisers Hyderabad supporter undergoes. Regarding Sunrisers, I really show my heart on my sleeve. Kavya Maran, Executive Director and CEO of Sun TV Network and Sunrisers Hyderabad, commented, “I think when you put your heart and soul into something, you naturally tend to get very personally attached to its successes and failures.”
The last time the franchise won the IPL crown was in 2016. Only twice since then, in 2018 and 2024, have they reached the tournament finals. The search for their second championship goes on.
