Pakistan Shaheens crushed India at Doha, a decisive display with 40 balls remaining, successfully chasing 137 runs in just 13.2 overs with an 8-wicket victory. This victory was the outcome of the sixth game of the B group of the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025.

India A’s 136 all out in 19 years was a very small total for the opposite team to chase. Fourteen-year-old phenom Vaibhav Suryavanshi top-scored with 45 runs off 28 balls, hitting 5 fours and 3 sixes before Sufiyan Muqeem dismissed him. Naman Dhir added a quick 35 off 20 balls to give the innings some impetus.
Pakistan’s bowlers proved to be the key to winning the match. Maaz Sadaqat (2 for 12) and Ubaid Shah (1 for 24) stashed the running of runs and maintained constant pressure; Shahid Aziz collected 3 wickets for 24 runs.

Chasing the target, Maaz Sadaqat anchored Pakistan’s innings with a calm 79 not out off 47 balls, featuring seven boundaries and four sixes. Mohammad Naeem’s 14 off 10 balls and Yasir Khan’s 11 off 9 balls aided in sealing the victory easily. Sadaqat’s all-around brilliance merited the Player of the Match honors.
With their dominant win over India A, Pakistan A is now the first team to secure a place in the semi-finals in the ACC Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, moving one step forward to claim the trophy.

Pakistan’s win has placed them at the higher end of Group B, giving a boost to their momentum with 4 points in 2 games along with a +2.810 net run rate, which makes it impossible for them to slip down from the top two positions in Group B. On the other hand, India A will need to reconsider its strategy after a below-par batting effort. India A needs to win its next game to advance to the semis.
