Here are the major stats highlights from the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy.
Virat Kohli became the ninth player in the history of cricket to reach 16,000 List-A runs. His List-A average of 57.6 is only second to Michael Bevan’s 57.86. AB de Villiers (53.47) and MS Dhoni (50.38) are the only others with 50 plus average.
VIrat Kohli reached to this 16,000 runs milestones in just 330 innings. He is the fastest to reach this milestone.

Virat Kohli now has 58 List-A hundreds, second only to Sachin Tendulkar’s 60. He scored a hundred in Delhi’s comfortable win against Andhra on 24 December.
Rohit Sharma also reached the triple figures in his Vijay Hazare Trophy match. It was his 37th hundred in List-A games. Both Kohli and Rohit have the chance to climb further in the rankings of most List-A hundreds. Here is the list.

In his game against Sikkim, Rohit scored 155 runs. It was his 9th 150+ score in List-A cricket, sharing the honor with David Warner. Gordon Greenidge is next on the list with six scores. After that, Tendulkar, Kohli, Chris Gayle, Fakhar Zaman, Travis Head, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Prithvi Shaw have five each.
Bihar, in their game against Arunachal Pradesh, reached a massive score of 574/6. It is the highest ever total in List-A cricket. They surpassed teh record of 506/2 against the same opponent in Bengaluru in 2022.
Viabhav Suryvanshi became the youngest player to reach the three figures in List-A cricket. At just 14 years 272 days, Suryavanshi overtook Zahoor Elahi (15 years 209 days).
Bihar captain, Shakibul Gani, created another record by smashing a hundred off just 32 balls. His hundred in Bihar’s monumental innings rank as the third fastest in the List-A cricket and fastest by an Indian. On the same day, Ishan Kishan also played one of the best innings of his life and scored a hundred off just 33 balls.
Bihar team hit 38 sixes in their monumental score of 574. It is now the most in a team-innings in List-A cricket. Second on the list is Canada (28 sixes).
Karnataka created history by chasing a record total of 413 runs. They scaled down this total against Jharkhand in Ahmedabad on the back of Devdutt Padikkal’s 118 ball 147. It is only the second successful 400 run chase in List-A cricket. Of course, South Africa’s famous victory over Australia tops the list.
