After, recently concluded T20I World Cup in 2024, where India defeated South Africa to become champions, India is slated to play the Champions Trophy in 2025. After this, India will play several bilateral series throughout the year.
Come October the West Indies team will tour India for 2 Tests. And then South Africa is set to tour India for a long series.

For Test cricket schedule 2025, ICC prepares FTP for every test-playing nation according to which all of them must play at least 2 bilateral series against each other in a span of 10 years. 2 Here is the minimum number of series to be played. Boards of different countries can reach an agreement to play more than 2 bilateral series in a span of 10 years.
