Ishan and Virat Kohli stitched together a partnership of 290 runs for the second wicket. In the match, Virat also scored a century. Ishan made 210 runs in 131 balls to help his team reach 409/8 in their innings. Bangladesh’s chase faltered from the get-go and they couldn’t recover. Eventually, they lost the match by 227 runs.
In that inning, Ishan hit 24 fours and 10 sixes to reach the milestone.
